Joliet Requires a License for Tree Service Work
Under the Joliet Code of Ordinances, § 18-271, any person who engages in the tree service business must obtain a city license on an annual basis before working within the corporate limits. One company cannot transfer its license to another. The ordinance also requires the licensee to display that license to any customer or city official on demand.
